Lets finally settle this, who's better Cristiano Ronaldo, or Lionel Messi?

New Team(s)

Welcome back.

I've recently sold my Inform team for 240k, which means I made a 15k profit on the squad as I bought it for 225k. It took me a couple of days to figure out which type of team I wanted and one that would fit my playing style, then it came to me to make more than one team; one for Attacking, Defending and a final one which includes a mixture of both. These are the teams I came up with.

Attacking - AC Milan:

Defending - Bor. Dortmund:

Mixture - Manchester United:

I use all these teams on a regular basis, especially for important Online Season games. If I need the win then I use AC Milan, need a point then I use Bor. Dortmund etc. I've recently discovered that you can challenge 'Team of the Week' from past weeks. I've been challenging teams of the week ever since the first one came out by going back to previous line-ups and selecting them, and if you challenge them on 'Ultimate' difficulty and win the match you make around 800/900 coins per game. I need to challenge 29 teams and so if I win all of them then I should make around 23,200-26,100 coins; easy money.

Anyway, let me know what you think about my new teams and maybe about how I can improve them.

Thank you.

Team of the Week 27/02/13

So Team of the Week has been released today. As far as I am aware this weeks Team of the Week is based on international performance alone. The inform squad that has been released isn't as good as I expected it to be, with the best player being 87 rated ST Higuain. Compared to last weeks this team is pretty average and lacks imagination and quite frankly lacks effort from the team behind the Fifa Ultimate Team add-on.

I personally feel that players such as Van Persie, Reus, Lewandowski and possibly even Defoe deserved an inform card for the hard work and dedication they put into their teams effort of the long weekends set of international matches.

This is the team:

As you can see the team is based around a 3-4-3 formation allowing for lots of midfield players to be included in the line up for this weeks Team of the Week. I am glad Fifa have noticed the effort that Baines has been putting in during the International matches, specifically during the San Marino match. He has played fantastically well during the second have of the season for Everton when he has played and now after a stunning performance for England I'm glad he has received and inform card, one myself I will be looking into purchasing once I have sold my complete team.

Let me know what you think about the Team of the Week this week and see if you agree with me by saying it is a terrible line-up and a let down. Comment below and let you opinions be heard, I'm interested in what others think.

Thank you.

Goodbye Informs!

Welcome back! Today is my day off from college and so I thought I would construct another post for my blog. I'm about to sell my team as I've had it for about a week now, and I'm getting quite bored of it. It's an amazing team for me and I've won a lot of games using it, but I'm going to start playing the game seriously now and I aim to get some of the bigger names in the game, but first I need to make some money and with the team I currently have I personally don't think I'm going to win the online season Division 1 again any time soon; which is were all the bigger bucks are.

Since the beginning of Fifa I've had many teams, including more than one team at once. I've never really had an outstanding team though unlike some of the people I have come across online. The best player I have probably ever had was Andre Iniesta from Barcelona, and he isn't even that good on the game. I have friends on the game who have the likes of Messi, Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic included in their squads and I know I'm not going to be getting players like that any time soon, but that's what I am aiming to achieve.

My currently starting XI was purchased on the live auction for around about 225K, and so hopefully with a little bit of profit making I am hoping to achieve at least the same amount of money back and maybe even a little bit more.

Whenever I sell players online, whoever they're, I always take into account the 5% tax that EA take from every purchase. So if I purchase a player for 1,000 coins, I will aim to sell him around the 1,100 mark. This covers my 5% tax and also leaves me with a little bit of profit. The best way and easiest way for me to figure out the selling price for my players with the added 5% tax included is by using a calculator. For example if a player is bought for 5,00 coins and you want to sell him making some profit and covering the tax loss, grab a calculator and follow this simple step - (5,000/100x105=5250). Now this shows you how much to sell the player for. If you put him up for 5,250 coins on the market and he sells at that price, you will take home 5,000 coins once the tax is taken off, meaning you haven't lost any money in the transaction. This is what I will be doing with every player on my team, meaning I won't lose any money.

My team will be sold via the auction on Xbox Live and my team name is ACStill. If you like any of the players seen in my last post then feel free to comment, and ask for details on the selling price of them, and maybe even a trade offer. You can always add me on Xbox Live for information too. My Gamertag can be found under the 'Personal Information' section on the right hand side.

Thanks for reading my blog once again. I will construct another post informing you about how well my team sold later on.

My Fifa 13 Ultimate Team Squad

I've been playing Ultimate Team on and off since the game was released back in September 2012 and I've never really found it that good, or in fact addictive like I know some people do. I found that the need to purchase contracts after a certain amount of games to become somewhat annoying as most of my money I have earn't from playing Tournaments and Seasons is spent on the upkeep of my team and not actually allowing me to save up enough money to go out to the Auction and purchase some of the bigger names out there. This is what put me off of the Fifa add-on, however over the last couple of weeks I've found myself playing it nearly every day without fail. The desire to create the best possible squad I can has made me come back every time and even though the contracts do still annoy me at times, they seem to have gone down in price from 500 coins to 200 coins (if you're lucky) from when I last played. With some assistance from friends I have made what I deem to be a decent team, it may not have headlining players, but the chemistry and morale is what counts, plus all but two players makes it and inform starting XI.

My teams is as followed:

My Inform Starting XI

GK: Rui Patricio
RB: Danilo
CB: Mangala
CB: Rojo
LB: Alex Sandro
CDM: Matic
CDM: Hugo Viana
CAM: Joao Mountinho
CAM: Labyad
CF: Cardozo
ST: Martinez

The team I currently use cost me around 225K as they are inform. I wanted to create an inform team just to see if it was possible, and not only possible but if it was actually good. All of the players are from the Liga Portuguesa and so their chemistry and morale are as high as possible. This is helped by them all being in the right formation and position. I chose to create a 4-2-3-1 formation team for the attacking ability up front, but then also allowing certain members to drop back and help out defend. I feel like this formations is suited from both attacking and defending.

This is the team I will use until I feel like I want to try something new and change my squad, which will probably be soon once I have saved up a certain amount of coins of bigger and better players.

Feel free to comment on my team below and let me know what you think about it and how maybe it can be improved. Also if you have used any of the players above, let me know what you think of them and how they played for you.

Thank you.
